What are the ingredients of Cushion Grip?
Polyvinyl Acetate (PVA), Yellow #6 Aluminum Lake, Ethyl Alcohol with methyl salicylate, and a Plasticizer.
This stuff has saved me so much hassle in the time between my immediate denture and working on my permanent. It's so much easier to not have to use adhesives every day.
BUT.....removing it?!? OMG! It NEVER comes off in one piece. My dentist needed all the residue off to reline it........ absolutely impossible.
That's really my main qualm with it.
We are glad you can enjoy your Cushion Grip! For removal, the best way to do it as put your dentures in a cup of hot water for about 10 minutes to loosen the thermoplastic. Then you use a tweezer or your fingers to carefully grab one end and peel it off slowly like a sticker! One tip we share to get it off more easily is having slow, running hot water flowing on top to loosen Cushion Grip further as you peel. Give that a shot!
Ordered cushion grip n received some item called Oralhoe, does not work. Within 30 minutes after applying it's gone.
