This denture adhesive receives mixed feedback. Satisfied customers said it's 'amazing' and provides excellent comfort with 'no mess,' particularly for bone loss issues. However, many reported it doesn't hold dentures securely as advertised, with some experiencing failure within hours. Application can be challenging, and the product may migrate or dry out quickly.

Just a quick note of my observation, I have been known to figure out just about anything, (except for a woman), the cushion grip is effective if you use it the way they say to for a couple of days, but the techture reminds me of pizza dough, you can shape it manipulate it, but then it starts to migrate, in other words after reapeted pressure in areas it is applied, it starts to create small flaps of material that build behind the back of the palat and over gums and in front of your teeth with areas that can be trimmed off and reinserted in to the denture in areas where you need it, so in other words it never becomes hard enough to hold its shape, it continualy moves, like pizza dough thats not cooked. Ive been using it, but it doesnt work the way I had hoped, you have to improvise a bit with it.
I’ve been using this product for a couple years now, I still need the adhesive fixadent and am wondering what’s the best way to get the old cushion grip off , it’s a struggle every time I need to change it.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. If you need a better fit with just Cushion Grip, we recommend adding a little more on the areas where it still feels loose, you continue building up and trimming the excess and then let it cure longer before eating or drinking. When it's time to remove Cushion Grip and replace it, you only need to do 3 steps: First, place dentures in hot water for about 10 minutes to loosen it. Next, grab a loose end with tweezers or clean hands. Finally, slowly peel it off like a sticker. If there are stubborn spots, have hot water flowing as you carefully peel it off. Then you can clean and dry your dentures for your next application! We hope this helps.
The tubes of cushion grip I ordered is nothing like I've seen in the videos it is Like a Sloppy cheap jelly that will not set Did I get a bad batch ??? Dear cushion grip thank you for your prompt response on my review I am looking forward to try a sample of the genuine product you have so generously offered to send me. A denture product is a very personal thing I am horrified to learn that I received an imitation from a third party
We are incredibly sorry to see you experience this. Based on the picture you shared, it appears you received a counterfeit from a scam website. To confirm, we don't have a record of your order in our systems. We highly encourage you to get a refund as soon as possible.
We'll reach out to you for next steps.
I just started using Cushion Grip and at first had a little trouble getting it to cling to my dentures. Once I got the hang of it and used the various tips out there on the Youtube videos, it sure has worked great for me.
Key is to make sure you have the water warm enough and not too hot, you need the Cushion grip very pliable in order for it to cling properly to your denture. Then you must allow for the product to cure properly and mold to your gums once you put your denture back into your mouth.
Make sure you do not eat anything before the required 2-4 hours of curing time, like it's been suggested - you may want to apply in the evening and sleep with your dentures on overnight so you can get a good fit and seal. Unless the tube you receive is old or damaged, this product will work for you if you follow the steps exactly.
Thank you Cushion Grip for helping me smile!
Wow, thank you so much for the kind review! We're glad that you can wear your dentures comfortably with Cushion Grip. Also yes, we emphasize the importance of following the instructions and taking your time with it; patiences brings rewards!
I started my denture journey in 2019, at Affordable Dentures, in NC. I opted for the "first time denture wearer offer" because I was having 23 teeth pulled, and I wanted the immediate denture, until my mouth healed, and was ready for the permanent denture.
Let me just tell you, my immediate denture was absolutely amazing! I loved everything about them, especially my "new" look. When I first got them, I loved the way they looked so much, my cheeks hurt from the constant smiling I was doing. Not only did the teeth themselves look great, but the way they changed the appearance of my face, was amazing! As someone who always suffered with appearance and body image issues, low self esteem, the whole works.
October 2020, was honestly the first time in my entire 36 years of existing, that I was not only happy with my appearance, i no longer avoided mirrors like the plague! When I looked in the mirrow, I absolutely LOVED the person that was looking back at me!
As amazing as my immediate dentures were, they were only temporary. Overtime my mouth was healing, my gums were shrinking, and there would soon come a time where I would have to trade in my temporary teeth in, and get the permanent ones made.
Unfortunately, the very first set of permanents was where the problems began. Thanks to covid, I ended up losing my job, and relocating. Relocating was the worst part, because I moved 700 miles away from the dentist that made my beautiful temporary teeth, which meant I would be seeing a different dentist to have my permanent teeth made by a different tech, in a different lab, and I was just as nervous as I was when I finally made the decision to have my teeth pulled and replaced with dentures.
The day I went to go get me teeth, i feel like they rushed, and didn't spend nearly the amount of time that was spent on my temporaries. I feel like this was because I went to a different office.
I initially went to a Affordable Dentures location in North Carolina, where I paid for the first time denture wearers package, with the premium dentures option. They weren't the top of the line, but they weren't the cheap economy ones either. I paid something like $1800 up front (i feel this is important), so that I got the upgraded premium dentures for both the temporary, and the permanent ones.
What I did not know at the time, was that while Affordable Dentures has locations all over the country, they are independantly owned by each dentist.
So, I paid the cost for the whole package in North Carolina, but because of covid, and the local ecomomy, I ended up moving to, and ultimately getting my permanent teeth from a location in Indiana.
When I picked up my permanent denture, I very much felt like the processs was rushed, from the moment i walked into my appointment, until I picked up the permanent teeth, I feel like they did not spend nearly as much time with me as a patient, but I also feel like the lab rushed making the teeth, and then I was rushed into accepting them, despite not being 100% happy with them. (I now know that I should have stood up for myself, voiced my disatisfaction, and made them rework them until Iwas thoroughly satisfied)
I didn't like the look of them to start with, i didn't like the way the way they fit, there was a lot I was unsatisfied with, but those teeth ended up making it 3 years before needing to be replaced.
When it finally got to the point that fixing them was impossible, they needed to be replaced, I decided not to go back to same dentist.
This time, I went with Aspen Dental, and this time I was low on money, so I went with the "economy dentures" and with a coupon,. I paid $299 per plate. i HATED them.
The tops were too big, like I had horse teeth, the bottom never fit right, so I couldn't eat with them in. I got tired of having to constantly reapply glue throughout the day, I just stopped wearing the bottoms all together.
Last year when I got my taxes back, I decided that it was time to upgrade, and invest in my smile, so I did.
I went with the "Signature" model this time. They were an upgraded model, had a 5 year warranty, and are compatible with implants, which is the long term goal.
Anyway, I don't know if it's my mouth thats the problem, the denture, but my bottom NEVER fit. I .Tried every brand and formula of adhesive I could find, mixed them together. I'd get a great hold at first, but 3-4 hours later, they were floating on my gums, making me gag.
Up until about 2 weeks ago, I didn't even try to put in the bottom, it was a lost cause, until I discovered this product.
This product has been a game changer, and is now 1 of 3 products I use, but I'm wearing my teeth, and i'm smiling again!
The only way I can keep my teeth in my mouth is by first starting with a nice layor of "Cushion Grip", "Polident Powder", then "Secure Waterproof" adhesive.
Next year, my goal is upgrading to the snap on implants, for the bottom anyway.
We're glad to hear your story about your denture journey and how Cushion Grip was able to help you smile again! Thank you for your support!
I've been using this product for years now. My first dentures were ,well... very cheap, and looked like baby teeth or almost white chickletts. Never fit well, and being my first ones I didfn't relize why, DR. nurse, etc. all hauled ass out of the office whith out even handing me a mirror. Of course they looked better than the 9 originals I walked in with.. I found Cusion Grip by accident, happy accident. Especially after I dropped and broke my old ones. After finally finding good denture repair compound, cusion grip was a god send for my gums while I figured out how to rebuild my fake teeth. As much as I don't like dentists finding one that would take my insurance through medicade in small town Iowa is almost impossible. ( pay for them yourself, and make your insurance pay for them.) Said the dentist office. Yeah.
This year my family helped me aquire new teeth. Good luck for me. Even with these new , better teeth they wouldn't stay in place. Cusion grip works even better with the new teeth.Eveen more impressed than before. With a new glue called Secure water proof adhesive my teeth stay in for days, and really help my teeth placement. Thank you for your attention, and checking in with me about deals. I've tried different brands, because I'm cheap. but always came back because of the quality, which negates the price
Thanks
Todd Trindle
We're so glad to hear Cushion Grip was able to help you with your new dentures! We hope you continue to enjoy using it!
I love the way it makes my tops fit and the comfort it gives. I haven't quite got the hang of the bottoms just because I haven't figured out if I didn't put enough or put to much the 1st application but going to add a 2nd layer tomorrow and see if that helps, if not will restart with less. But I love this product, I hate the glues and how long it takes to get off of your gums. With this product it totally eliminates that process pop them in and go and out at night no mess or clean up!
Thank you so much for the feedback! You can reach out to us on our Contact page and a Brand Ambassador will reach out and help you with every step on Cushion Grip. We'd love to see you enjoy the full potential of our product!
Very disappointed!!! Followed directions very carefully but it did not hold 1 day so 4 days is laughable. I bought 3 tubes, however only utilized one. It may work for others but it did not work for me.
We are sorry that you haven't been able to enjoy Cushion Grip. Feel free to reach out to us through our Contact page and a brand ambassador will reach out and help you with every step and share tips!
I received my first purchase of 2 cushion grip tubes but 1 tube came looking like it got crushed with a hole punctured in the end of it and some oozed out.I called customer service about but no one ever called me back so basically 1 tube cost 22.00 because I don’t want to use the broken tube.
Works perfect on my top denture but not as wonderful for the bottom denture. I smoke so after the first 2 hours of curing the denture in my mouth, the first drag loosens the suction so I still need to use the fixodent but I don’t mind because it still makes the bottom denture fit a bit better. I just wish it came in a larger tube than just 1 oz because after about 3 or 4 uses you need to get another tube.
Hi Nicki,
We apologize for the situation in regards to one of the tubes getting damaged from the shipping. One of our brand ambassadors will reach out to you and will help you get a replacement as soon as possible!
Four day hold bull, it only lasted for about 6hrs…. I will never buy it again
We are sorry to hear about your experience with Cushion Grip. Based on what you described, the Cushion Grip was probably not given enough time for it to cure properly or not enough was used to mold to the shape of your gums. We'd be happy to help you with the application if you're open to giving it another chance!
Love it. It's does exactly what it's name implies .
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us! We're glad Cushion Grip can help you!
Absolutely the most amazing product ever to hold loose kill dentures in place
Thank you so much for your kind feedback!
Love this stuff the only thing that works, Thank you
We're glad that Cushion Grip has helped you with your dentures!
The product was great so was the customer service they were very courteous and did what they said I could check the information on my account but getting it shipped was a nightmare it took 17 days for it to get here ridiculous and that's with notification ahead of time.. with that said I hope that part of the process improves because cushion grip is a wonderful product and I don't know what I'd do without it I've been using it for years and will continue to do so
We are very sorry to hear about the shipping experience. It seems like the carrier was having a lot of trouble on their end with deliveries at the time and that could explain why it took so long. We do our best to ship it in a timely manner but it was beyond our control with how they handled it.
Great product works very well
Awesome stuff for dentures. Must be applied as it states. I tried what i thought would work, nope it did not. Love this stuff
Thank you for sharing your feedback! As long as you follow the directions during the application, it should become second nature to use Cushion Grip!
Terrible
We are sorry to hear Cushion Grip hasn't been able to help you so far. If you'd like assistance with the application or the experience, reach out to us!
I've used it for some time now. If I wear my dentures without it, they are very loose. It fills in some of the gaps, but doesn't hold my teeth in. I need adhesive WITH it
I ordered cushion grip because why not? I've watched videos of it with skepticism but for $10 I thought I'd at least try it and it actually showed up and I'm wearing it now on my bottoms. I use powder on top plate and now I use cushion grip. I used to use Fixodent 12hr hold on the bottoms before trying cushion grip. Good product though, if you haven't tried it you should. You'll like it better than the glue, I promise you that
We're glad that you can enjoy using Cushion Grip! Thank you for your support.
It dis not work like it said it would and i followed the directions to the tea. I would like my money back
We are sorry to hear about your experience with Cushion Grip. We understand it could take one or two tries for new users to find the right amount for their needs. We'd like to extend a hand to help you with the application!
I don’t have any bone for my lower dentures. I really really love this stuff. It stays perfect for a week and more. It doesn’t leave that gooey stuff behind like all the other adhesives leave. I don’t understand why these people who give bad reviews can’t get it to work. This stuff is amazing. I have more confidence. Before I tried cushion grip I NEVER wore my bottom dentures because nothing would keep them in. Thank you for making this product.
We are honored to have been able to help you on your denture journey with Cushion Grip!
